Hamamatsucho, Minato-ku
This place is actually not a jidoukan because it’s a play space only for children ages 3 years old and under and their parents. It’s called Child and Family Support Center and it is very close to Daimon Station on the Oedo subway line or Hamamatsucho Station on JR Keihin Tohoku line. It’s a nice, clean place to take babies to play and let out some energy. One large room has many toys, books, and a small room for nursing moms. And next to that room is a space for eating, with tables, chairs and highchairs. The staff there is very friendly, which made us feel welcome even as first-time visitors.
