Following in his grandpa’s footsteps, Keiji is becoming a quite a photographer. He always wants to take a photo, but I am a bit reluctant to hand over my digital camera when we are outdoors and walking along concrete. When it feels relatively safe I will hand the camera over to him he is always very excited and very pleased when he gets to look at his pictures on the screen. Here are some snapshots he took at a restaurant in Ginza. It’s like looking through the eyes of a 3 year old. I think I know what to get him for Christmas.

Hi Trisha! Thanks for visiting my blog! I really like your blog and am so glad to hear from other American mothers living in Japan!
i like that idea.. a durable, cheapy digital camera of his own could be interesting for his development.. giving him the power and freedom to select and take his own shots may foster some good things psychologically? after all, photography is in the blood isnt it?
Hi! Keiji has talent for photos! or I’m just crazy for Grandkids?
Very true Jay, that’s even more reason why a camera would be excellent for him.
lol, O-kasan, i think you definitely are crazy about your grandkids!
