Tokyo Dome City, Chiyoda-ku
Tokyo Dome City is the area all around Tokyo Dome, which is Tokyo’s first covered stadium – the home stadium for baseball team Yomiuri Giants. There’s LaQua Shopping Mall, an amusement park, a spa with hot springs, Tokyo Dome Hotel, lots of restaurants and cafes, and also the location of Toy Kingdom. There’s lots to do in the area for kids. Apart from Toy Kingdom, there are toy shops and the big highlight – a huge fountain to run around. My mom friends and I often meet up there with our kids since it’s kind of middle ground for everyone.
There are a few train lines that go to Tokyo Dome City. It’s about a 3 minute walk from Suidobashi station on the Tokyo Metro Mita line (There are elevators at this station). It’s about a 5 minute walk from the JR Chuo line Suidobashi station (This station has not elevator or down escalator but there is an up escalator).
