Tokyo Midtown, Roppongi
There is a small area in the playground across from the Tokyo Midtown complex with water spurting up from the ground. The kids couldn’t resist getting closer since it was such a typical hot and humid Tokyo summer day. I normally don’t let them go splashing around random fountains because I can sometimes be paranoid about cleanliness and wonder if the water is coming from a questionable source. But it looked like pretty clear water and I’ve learned to let my hair down a bit when it comes to the kids playing outdoors. The fact that most areas in Tokyo is no doubt a lot cleaner than New York City also helps!
